Azur Innovation is a research, development and consultancy company specialising in technology creation and management. We support a diverse range of services and activities focusing on innovative ideas. Azur was formed in 2008 with the aim of driving new technology development and providing services in strategic analysis and exploitation. The fields we operate in are diverse ranging from energy to health to defence and we have a wide portfolio of skills. The team have previously been involved in other health-related products including novel acoustic imaging systems and drug testing systems.
PQtap has been developed by the Azur team in conjunction with an old friend of ours, Rod Smith, who decided to build a web application to chart some health problems he was facing. We’ve worked with Rod now for a number of years and have converted his persistent monitoring software for deployment on mobile devices which gives a convenient way to record, analyse and monitor bladder and “pipework” related health issues such as urinary tract infections, enlarged prostate, tumours and their post-treatment recovery.
